ICE MACHINE WATER SAFETY · LOG 10 CERTIFIED · INLINE FILTRATION
Your ice machine has a water supply line. That's where bacteria enter.
MWT inline filtration systems install directly at the water supply line before water enters the machine. Validated Log 10 bacteria reduction with no equipment modification required. Fast installation. Long service life.

The three risk points - before the water freezes
#1
Supply line temperature
Water in supply lines remains at ambient temperature between production cycles, within Legionella growth range. The ice machine chills water internally, but upstream lines and hoses are not temperature controlled.
#2
Idle water stagnation
Overnight. Weekends. Low-demand periods. Stagnant water in the supply line and inlet valve is when biofilm forms and bacteria count builds - before the next batch of ice is made.
#3
Direct exposure pathway
Ice is consumed directly or in beverages. While ingestion risk is low, aspiration of contaminated meltwater can introduce bacteria into the lungs. Freezing preserves bacteria until thawing.

Option 1 — Standard
Inline Pureflow Blue®
Bacterial filtration at the supply line
0.08 µm
Log 10
14,000 gal
Installs on the cold water supply line entering the ice machine. Hollow fiber 0.08 µm membrane removes Legionella, NTM, and E. coli before water enters the unit. Standard threaded pipe connections.
✓ BEST FOR
Single-machine installs · Hotels · Dental offices · Small clinics · Any standard ice machine with a water supply line

Option 2 — Full Protection
Inline Pureflow Blue® + Red®
Sediment pre-filter + bacterial filtration
0.08 µm Final Stage
2 stages
Log 10
The Red® sediment strainer (20µm + 10µm) captures particles and scale upstream — protecting the Blue® membrane from fouling and extending its service life. The Blue® then delivers Log 10 bacterial reduction at the final stage. Best choice when source water quality is unknown or variable.
✓ BEST FOR
Single-machine installs · Hotels · Dental offices · Small clinics · Any standard ice machine with a water supply line

Option 3 — High Volume
AquaGuard Pro®
High-capacity Log 10 system — click-connect replacement
0.08 µm
Log 10
34,000 gal
34,000-gallon capacity, 2.4× longer life than the Inline Blue®. The click-connect system lets your team swap the filter in seconds without dismantling the unit. Built for facilities with multiple ice machines or 24/7 high-volume output.
✓ BEST FOR
Single-machine installs · Hotels · Dental offices · Small clinics · Any standard ice machine with a water supply line
