- 013 things set MWT apart: Certification depth (FDA-registered manufacturing facility, EPA-FIFRA registered facility, IAPMO/NSF, CE, ASTM F838-20, ASSE LEC 2011-2022, DIN EN 16421, DIN 58356, and additional independent laboratory validation) Filtration performance (Log 10 / 99.99999999% bacterial reduction compared to the common Log 7 market standard, representing up to 1,000x greater bacterial reduction under controlled laboratory conditions) Longest service life in the market: 150 to 180 day service life compared to current competitors that provide 30 to 90 days. This represents the longest duration on the EU market. No competitor combines certification depth, validated bacterial reduction performance, and extended service life at the same level simultaneously.
- 02MWT serves 14+ industries including healthcare (hospitals, ICUs, oncology, surgical environments), elderly care and senior living facilities, hospitality (hotels, resorts, spas), dental clinics, commercial buildings, public infrastructure (schools, universities, government buildings), industrial and pharmaceutical facilities, and marine/cruise environments. If your facility operates a water system and has a responsibility to protect occupants from waterborne bacteria exposure, MWT offers certified point-of-use and point-of-entry filtration solutions designed for high-risk environments.
- 03No. MWT operates exclusively through professional consultants and authorized distribution partners. We do not sell direct to end clients under any circumstances. All partner-introduced clients are recorded and CRM-protected at the point of introduction. If a direct inquiry is received from a client already introduced by a partner, it is redirected to the originating partner, always.
- 04MWT products are manufactured in the Netherlands within an FDA-registered medical device establishment and a U.S. EPA FIFRA-registered facility. Manufacturing and quality processes operate under internationally recognized quality and testing frameworks including ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 22196, and ASTM F838-20 validation protocols. Our technology is backed by more than 20 years of Dutch life sciences and water safety development and is engineered for professional healthcare, hospitality, elderly care, commercial, and public infrastructure environments where long-term water safety performance is critical.
- 05Yes. If your facility has confirmed or suspected Legionella contamination, MWT operates a dedicated emergency response program for healthcare, elderly care, hospitality, commercial, and public infrastructure environments across Europe. Our team can coordinate rapid deployment of filtration systems, technical documentation, and installation guidance to support corrective action procedures and help facilities remain operational during remediation and investigation phases.

- 07Point-of-Use (POU) filtration means the filter is installed directly at the final water outlet, such as a faucet, shower, or clinical outlet, where water is actually used. This approach provides a physical barrier at the exact point where aerosolized or ingested water may present exposure risk. Unlike large-scale system disinfection or chemical remediation procedures, point-of-use filtration can typically be deployed without operational shutdowns or major plumbing modifications.
- 08MWT does not conduct water testing directly, but we maintain a network of accredited Legionella testing laboratories and water management consultants. We can connect you with qualified testing partners based on your geographic location and facility type. Reach out through our contact form for any inquiries or support needs.
- 09MWT-US offers a diverse range of filtration solutions tailored to address specific water quality concerns. Our specialized systems, including the TotalPure QF10-80 and various dedicated inline models, are engineered to eliminate more than just physical debris. These advanced units effectively target bacteria, heavy metals, and chlorine residues, while also filtering out volatile organic carbons (VOCs), pharmaceuticals, and chemical traces like pesticides or hormones. For detailed performance data on these multi stage capabilities, please review our specific product listings.
